In the same order, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) returned from the heavens and landed first at Bayt-ul-Muqaddas. From here, he mounted the Buraaq and reached Makkah Mukarramah before the break of dawn.<\/p>\n
The same morning, he recounted this incident to the Quraish. On hearing the incident, they were left shocked. Some of them held their hands over their heads in astonishment whilst others scornfully started clapping their hands. In surprise, they began to exclaim, \u201cHow could it be possible for him to go to Bayt-ul-Muqaddas and return in just a single night!\u201d<\/p>\n
In order to test him, those who had been to Bayt-ul-Muqaddas began to question him about the distinguishing features of Bayt-ul-Muqaddas. At that time, Allah Ta\u2018ala brought Bayt-ul-Muqaddas right before his very eyes. The disbelievers then began to pose their questions, and Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) answered them while seeing Bayt-ul-Muqaddas.<\/p>\n
Eventually, when all their questions pertaining to Bayt-ul-Muqaddas were exhausted, they asked, \u201cOkay, tell us some incident about the road leading to Bayt-ul-Muqaddas.\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied, \u201cOn my way, I came across a trade caravan at a certain place that was returning to Makkah Mukarramah from Syria. They lost one camel and later retrieved it. Insha Allah, this trade caravan should reach Makkah Mukarramah within three days. At the front of the caravan will be a dust-colored camel laden with two sacks of goods.\u201d<\/p>\n
Accordingly, on the third day, this caravan entered Makkah Mukarramah in precisely the same manner which Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) had foretold, and they also narrated the incident of the lost camel. On seeing and hearing this, Waleed bin Mugheerah dismissed the whole incident by declaring, \u201cThis is nothing but sorcery.\u201d The people also concurred with him saying, \u201cYes, Waleed is speaking the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n
