When Hazrat Ja\u2019far (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) and his companions eventually decided to leave Abyssinia for Madinah Munawwarah, then Najaashi bore all their travel costs and supplied them with provisions for the journey. Furthermore, he presented a number of gifts to them.<\/p>\n
Najaashi also sent a messenger with them and said, \u201cInform Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) regarding the manner in which I received you and conducted with you. Also inform him that I say, \u2018I bear testimony that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah, and I bear testimony that you are His messenger. I also request you to seek forgiveness from Allah Ta\u2018ala on my behalf.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Hazrat Ja\u2019far (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) mentions, \u201cWe departed from Abyssinia, and on arriving in the blessed presence of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) in Madinah Munawwarah, he hugged me and exclaimed, \u2018I do not know if I am more pleased over the conquest of Khaibar or the arrival of Hazrat Ja\u2019far (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu).\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) then sat while the messenger of Najaashi stood and said, \u201c(O Rasul of Allah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)!) Hazrat Ja\u2019far (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is here before you. Ask him how our Emperor had received him and treated him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hazrat Ja\u2019far (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) replied, \u201cUndoubtedly, Najaashi welcomed us and treated us in such-and-such manner. In fact, he showed us such kindness that when we departed from Abyssinia, he even provided us with conveyances and provisions for the journey. He offered us his constant assistance. He also testified that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah and he testified that you are certainly the messenger of Allah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). He requests that you make du\u2018aa for his forgiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) immediately stood, performed wudhu and made the following du\u2018aa thrice:<\/p>\n

O Allah!
