\"\"<\/a>Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) sent Hazrat Mu\u2019aaz (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) to govern over a certain part of Yemen, and he sent Hazrat Abu Musa Ash\u2019ari (radhiyalllahu \u2018anhu) to govern over another part of Yemen.<\/p>\n

Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) addressed them and gave them the following advice before sending them. He said to them, \u201cMake things easy (for people), and do not make things difficult (for people). Give glad tidings (to people), and do not conduct in a way that you drive people away (from deen).\u201d<\/p>\n

Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) first sent Hazrat Abu Musa Ash\u2019ari (radhiyalllahu \u2018anhu) to Yemen, and thereafter he sent Hazrat Mu\u2019aaz (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) to Yemen.<\/p>\n

While living in Yemen, these two Sahaabah would come to visit each other, especially when travelling past each other\u2019s areas.<\/p>\n

Once, while Hazrat Mu\u2019aaz bin Jabal (radiyallahu anhu) was passing by the area of Hazrat Abu Musa Ash\u2019ari (radiyallahu \u2018anhu), he stopped over to meet him. After meeting each other, they both sat and discussed their daily practice of reciting the Quraan Majeed.<\/p>\n

Hazrat Mu\u2019aaz bin Jabal (radiyallahu \u2018anhu) asked Hazrat Abu Musa Ash\u2019ari (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), \u201cO Abdullah (Abu Musa), what is your daily program in regard to reciting the Quraan?\u201d<\/p>\n

He replied, \u201cWhatever moments I find to recite the Quraan (during the night and day), I recite it (i.e. at every possible moment when I am able to recite the Quraan Majeed, I recite it).\u201d<\/p>\n

Hazrat Abu Musa (radiyallahu \u2018anhu) then asked Hazrat Mu\u2019aaz (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), \u201cWhat is your daily program in regard to reciting the Quraan?\u201d<\/p>\n

Hazrat Mu\u2019aaz (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) replied, \u201cI sleep during the first part of the night, and then wake up (to recite the Quraan Majeed) after fulfilling the amount of sleep which I require. I then recite whatever amount (of Quraan) Allah decrees for me to recite (at that time). Just as I have hope of receiving reward from Allah for standing in salaah (during the night and reciting the Quraan Majeed), similarly, I have hope of receiving reward from Allah for my sleep (during the night, as my sleep is for the purpose of gaining strength to carry out ibaadat for Allah Ta\u2019ala during the day and night).\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
