Hazrat Abdullah bin Saa\u2019ib (radhiyallahu anhu) reports, \u201cI heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) recite the following between the Rukn-e-Yamaani and the Hajr-e-Aswad:<\/em><\/p>\n

On one occasion, while Hazrat Ataa bin Abi Rabaah (rahimahullah) was performing tawaaf, Ibnu Hishaam asked him regarding the Rukn-e-Yamaani. Hazrat Ataa (rahimahullah) replied, \u201cHazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu anhu) reported to me that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, \u2018Seventy thousand angels have been appointed over it. Hence, whoever recites (the following dua when coming to the Rukn-e-Yamaani), then these angels all say \u2018Ameen\u2019 to his dua:<\/em><\/p>\n

Thereafter, as they reached the Hajr-e-Aswad, Ibnu Hishaam asked Hazrat Ataa (rahimahullah), \u201cO Abu Muhammed! What Hadith has reached you in regard to this Hajr-e-Aswad?\u201d Hazrat Ataa (rahimahullah) replied, \u201cHazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu anhu) reported to me that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) mention, \u2018The one who faces it and places his hand upon it, then it is as though he has faced and placed his hand upon the hand of Rahmaan (Allah Ta’ala).\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
