Ali bin Zayd (rahimahullah) narrates that once, a bedouin approached Hazrat Talhah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) in order to seek assistance from him. The bedouin was a relative of Hazrat Talhah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) and when presenting his request, he asked him through the bond of kinship which they both shared between themselves.<\/p>\n

Hazrat Talhah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) responded, \u2018Prior to you, no person has asked me for assistance through the medium of kinship.\u2019 He then said, \u2018I have a piece of land for which Hazrat Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) offered me three hundred thousand dirhams. You may have this piece of land. If you so wish, I will sell the land to Hazrat Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) on your behalf and then give you the full amount for which I had sold it.\u2019 (Siyaru A\u2019alaamin Nubala 1\/31)<\/em><\/p>\n
