After Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) kills Dajjaal and defeats his army, Allah Ta\u2018ala will cause good conditions to prevail in the world, and the entire world will embrace Islam. This condition will continue for some time, and then Allah Ta\u2018ala send wahi to Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) informing him of the emergence of Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj.<\/p>\n
Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) mentioned in his Mubaarak Hadith that Allah Ta\u2018ala will send wahi to Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) saying, \u201cWe are about to release such a creation against whom you and the people have no power to fight. Therefore, take the Muslims and seek refuge in Mount Toor.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj will thereafter emerge, and after their emergence, they will cause great turmoil and havoc in the earth. Eventually, Allah Ta\u2018ala will destroy them. Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) and the Muslims will then descend from the mountain.<\/p>\n
In the Hadith of Saheeh Muslim and Sunan Tirmizi, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) described the fitnah of Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj saying:<\/p>\n
After Dajjaal is killed, Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) will come to a group of people whom Allah Ta\u2018ala had protected from Dajjaal. He will pass his hand over their faces (to remove the dust and weariness) and will inform them of their ranks in Jannah (to console them after the difficulties they had underwent). During that period, Allah Ta\u2018ala will send wahi to Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) saying, \u201cI have unleashed certain servants of mine against whom no person has the power or ability to fight. Hence, take my servants to the Mountain of Toor to seek refuge and protection.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Allah Ta\u2018ala will thereafter release Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj who will rush down from every hill. As the first people of their group will pass by the lake of Tiberias, they will drink all of its water. Hence, when the last people of their group pass by, they will say, \u201cThere was once water here.\u201d They will then proceed until they arrive at the Mountain of Baytul Muqaddas. <\/em><\/p>\n Thereafter, they will say, \u201cWe have killed those in the earth. Come! Let us now kill the people of the sky!\u201d Saying this, they will fire their arrows into the sky. Allah Ta\u2018ala will cause their arrows to return to them stained with blood (due to perhaps striking birds and getting stained, after which they will believe that they have killed the people of the sky).<\/em><\/p>\n Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) and the Muslims will be confined to the Mountain of Toor, until (due to the lack of food at that time,) the head of an ox (which is normally cheap) for those people will be worth more than one hundred dinars for you people today. Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) and the Muslims will then turn to Allah Ta\u2018ala in du\u2018aa, begging him to destroy Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj. Allah Ta\u2018ala will thus afflict them with a worm in their necks due to which by the morning, they will all have died at once.<\/em><\/p>\n Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) and the Muslims will then descend from the mountain. On descending, they will not find even one space equal to a hand-span that will be free of the stench and blood of the corpses of Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj. Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) and the Muslims will thus make du\u2018aa to Allah Ta\u2018ala again (to remove the corpses of Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj). Allah Ta\u2018ala will then send birds which will have necks like camels. These birds will carry the corpses away and will dispose of them in the place where Allah Ta\u2018ala wills. The Muslims will use the bows, arrows and quivers of Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj as fuel for their fires for seven years thereafter. <\/em><\/p>\n Allah Ta\u2018ala will then send a rain from which neither a tent of fur nor a house of mud will be able to give shelter. This rain will cover the earth, leaving it as clean as a mirror. The earth will thereafter be commanded by Allah Ta\u2018ala, \u201cProduce your fruit and return your blessings.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n As a result, at that time, a group of people will eat from one pomegranate and will be sheltered by its peel. There will be such barakah (blessing) in milk that a large group of people (more than a tribe) will be able to suffice on the milk of one she-camel, a tribe will be able to suffice on the milk of a cow and a family will be able to suffice on the milk of a goat. (Saheeh Muslim #2937, Sunan Tirmizi #2240)<\/em><\/p>\n Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) Passing Away and Being Buried Next to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)<\/strong><\/p>\n After Ya\u2019jooj and Ma\u2019jooj are destroyed by Allah Ta\u2018ala, Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) will continue to live in the world for some time, and thereafter he will pass away. The Muslims will perform his janaazah salaah and he will be buried next to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).<\/p>\n From the time of his descent, Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) will live in the world for the total period of forty-five years.<\/p>\n Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cIsa bin Maryam (\u2018alaihis salaam) will descend to the earth. After his descent, he will marry and have children. He will remain in the world for forty-five years after which he will pass away. He will be buried next to my grave. Hence, (on the Day of Qiyaamah,) I will rise up with him from the same place between Abu Bakr and Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma).\u201d (Mishkaat #5508)<\/em><\/p>\n In another Hadith, Hazrat Abdullah bin Salaam (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports, \u201cThe description of Muhammad (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) is recorded in the Towraah, and it is also recorded in the Towraah that Nabi Isa bin Maryam (\u2018alaihis salaam) will be buried with him.\u201d (Sunan Tirmizi #3617)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" After Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) kills Dajjaal and defeats his army, Allah Ta\u2018ala will cause good conditions to prevail in the world, and the entire world will embrace Islam.
