Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) then appointed Hazrat Abu Ubaidah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) to go to the people of Najraan and teach them deen.<\/p>\n<p>When Hazrat Abu Ubaidah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) stood up and was about to leave, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) mentioned regarding him, \u201cThis person is the (special) trustee of this Ummah\u201d. (Saheeh Bukhaari #3480- 3481)<\/p>\n<p>Note: The quality of trustworthiness was the hallmark of all the Sahaabah.
