O Allah, I beseech You for the good in her and the good You have created her upon (i.e. the good that is kept in women), and I seek protection from her weaknesses (deficiencies, short-comings, etc.) and the weakness You have created her upon (i.e. the weakness within women).<\/em><\/p>\n

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (radhiyallahu anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cWhen anyone of you marries a woman or purchases a slave, then he should recite the following dua, and when he purchases a camel, he should take hold of the top of its hump and recite the same dua:<\/em><\/p>\n
