Allah Ta\u2018ala, out of His infinite grace and mercy, sent down two sources of light for the guidance of every nation.<\/p>\n
The first source of light was the heavenly books and scriptures which Allah Ta\u2018ala sent down for the guidance of the nation. The second source of light was the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) whom Allah Ta\u2018ala sent to physically demonstrate before their nations the practical dimension of the guidance which was contained in the heavenly books and scriptures.<\/p>\n
From time immemorial, this was the divine system of Allah Ta\u2018ala. Hence, from the very beginning of the creation, which was the period of Nabi Aadam (alaihis salaam), and thereafter throughout every era, Allah Ta\u2018ala continued to send down these two sources of light for the guidance of humanity, until the world finally witnessed the culmination of the series of Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) with the coming of the final Messenger, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafaa (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).<\/p>\n
In the Qur\u2019aan Majeed, Allah Ta\u2018ala makes mention of the two sources of light which He blessed this ummah with \u2013 the Qur\u2019aan Majeed and Hazrat Muhammad Mustafaa (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).<\/p>\n
In regard to the Qur\u2019aan Majeed being a source of light, Allah Ta\u2018ala mentions:<\/p>\n
\u0641\u064e\u0640\u0627\u0645\u0650\u0646\u0648\u0627 \u0628\u0650\u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0633\u0648\u0644\u0650\u0647\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0646\u0651\u0648\u0631\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0649 \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0632\u064e\u0644\u0646\u0627<\/p>\n
So, bring imaan in Allah, in His Rasul (Muhammad Mustafaa\u00a0<\/em>(sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)) and in the light (i.e. the Qur\u2019aan Majeed) which We have revealed. (Surah Taghaabun v. 8)<\/em><\/p>\n In regard to Hazrat Muhammad Mustafaa (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) being a source of light, Allah Ta\u2018ala mentions:<\/p>\n \u0642\u064e\u062f \u062c\u0627\u0621\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645 \u0645\u0650\u0646\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u0650 \u0646\u0648\u0631\u064c \u0648\u064e\u0643\u0650\u062a\u0670\u0628\u064c \u0645\u064f\u0628\u064a\u0646\u064c<\/p>\n There has come to you from Allah a light (i.e. Rasulullah\u00a0<\/em>(sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)) and a clear book (i.e. the Qur\u2019aan Majeed). (Surah Maa\u2019idah v. 15)<\/em><\/p>\n Allah Ta\u2018ala blessed our beloved Rasul, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafaa (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), to be the greatest of Allah\u2019s Ta\u2018ala creation and the leader of all Ambiyaa and Rasuls (alaihimus salaam) who came in this world.<\/p>\n Allah Ta\u2018ala blessed him with the virtues and goodness of all the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) combined, and Allah Ta\u2018ala granted him the greatest Shari\u2019ah \u2013 the Shari\u2019ah of Islam, and the greatest heavenly book \u2013 the Qur\u2019aan Majeed, which will never be abrogated and will stand the test of all times until the Day of Qiyaamah.<\/p>\n As far as the other Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) were concerned, they were all sent for the guidance of certain nations in certain places, and their Shari\u2019ahs were limited to specific periods of time. After their periods terminated, their Shari\u2019ahs and books were abrogated.<\/p>\n As far as our beloved Rasul, Hazrat Muhammad (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) is concerned, Allah Ta\u2018ala sent him for the guidance of all people in all places until the end of time. Hence, his Shari\u2019ah and divine book will remain for eternity and will never be abrogated.<\/p>\n It is for this reason that Allah Ta\u2018ala sent Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) at the end of the series of Ambiyaa and Rasuls (alaihimus salaam) \u2013 to complete and perfect the goodness that Allah Ta\u2018ala sent down to the world from the beginning of time.<\/p>\n Every aspect of the mubaarak life of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was so blessed and beloved to Allah Ta\u2018ala that Allah Ta\u2018ala made it a means of acquiring guidance and goodness in entirety. Hence, emulating the mubaarak sunnah of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), teaching it to others, or even enumerating his life history and noble qualities has the potential of illuminating one\u2019s life and changing the conditions of one\u2019s environment.<\/p>\n It is for this reason that this series of articles on the seerah of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) is being commenced, with the hope of Allah Ta\u2018ala changing the condition of the Muslims globally \u2013 especially at this time where the Muslim ummah is being plagued with trials and tribulations on every front, and is encountering tragedies and challenges from every quarter.<\/p>\n May Allah Ta\u2018ala accept this humble effort, bless it with acceptance and make it a means for the sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) being revived in the entire world.<\/p>\n
