The Emergence of Dajjaal and His Various Fitnahs<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Dajjaal will emerge in the world, he will first emerge from the east, between Syria and Iraq. Thereafter, he will proceed to Isfahaan where 70 000 Jews will join him. (Muslim #2944)<\/em><\/p>\n

He will travel throughout the world, and wherever he goes, he will create colossal fitnah and widespread corruption. The only two lands which he will not be able to enter will be Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah.<\/p>\n

When he reaches Makkah Mukarramah, he will try to enter it but will be unable to do so as Makkah Mukarramah will be protected and guarded by the angels. He will then try to enter Madinah Munawwarah, but will also be unable to enter it as it will also be protected and guarded by the angels.<\/p>\n

In one Hadith, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) mentioned, \u201cNo land will remain except that Dajjaal will enter it and gain control over it, besides Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah. He will not approach these two cities from any of their passes except that the angels will face him with unsheathed swords, until he will settle at a small red hill where the salty land ends.\u201d (Ibnu Maajah #4077)<\/em><\/p>\n

In another Hadith, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cThe fear of Maseeh Dajjaal will not enter Madinah Munawwarah. On that day (i.e. at the time when Dajjaal will emerge and will come to Madinah Munawwarah,) it will have seven gates, and at every gate there will be two angels (guarding the entrance).\u201d (Bukhaari #1879)<\/em><\/p>\n

During his travels, he will mislead people and cause them to lose their imaan. The kuffaar will join him and support him, until his army and following will increase tremendously. He will initially claim prophethood, but will thereafter begin to claim that he is Allah. (Muslim #2937, Fathul Baari 13\/97)<\/em> His entire stay in the world, after his emergence, will be forty days.<\/p>\n

Madinah Munawwarah will then be struck with three tremors. On account of the tremors, every male and female hypocrite will leave Madinah Munawwarah. After leaving Madinah Munawwarah, they will join the army of Dajjaal. In this manner, Madinah Munawwarah will expel its evil inhabitants, just as the bellows purify iron of its impurities. That day will be named \u201cthe day of khalaas\u201d (the day of cleansing). (Muslim #2943, Haakim #8631)<\/em><\/p>\n

Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cDajjaal will emerge from a path between Shaam and Iraq and will spread havoc towards the North. O servants of Allah, remain firm! I am going to give you such a description of him which no Nabi before me gave (his people). He will initially say, \u201cI am a Nabi,\u201d whereas there is no Nabi after me. He will then make a second claim and say, \u201cI am your rabb,\u201d whereas you will not see your Rabb until you die. He has a defective eye, whereas your Rabb does not have a defective eye (i.e. Allah Ta\u2018ala is completely free of all defects). The word \u2018Kaafir\u2019 will be written between his eyes. Every believer, whether literate or not, will be able to read it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Fire and Garden of Dajjaal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cFrom among his fitnahs is that he will have a garden and a fire with him. His fire will actually be a garden, and his garden will actually be a fire. The one who faces the trial of his fire should seek the help of Allah Ta\u2018ala and recite the beginning verses of Surah Kahf. The fire will then be cool and safe for him, as it was for Nabi Ebrahim (\u2018alaihis salaam).<\/p>\n

Dajjaal Bringing the Dead to Life <\/strong><\/p>\n

Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cFrom among his fitnahs is that he will say to a bedouin, \u201cTell me, if I bring your father and mother back to life for you, will you bear witness that I am your rabb?\u201d The Bedouin will reply, \u201cYes.\u201d Two shaitaans will then appear before him in the form of his parents and will say to him, \u201cO beloved son! Follow him, as he is your rabb!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom among his fitnahs is that he will gain power over a certain person whom he will kill and cut with a saw until he separates his body into two pieces. He will then say, \u201cLook at this servant of mine! I will now resurrect him, after which he will still claim that I am not his rabb.\u201d Allah Ta\u2018ala will then resurrect this person. The wretched Dajjaal will ask him, \u201cWho is your rabb?\u201d He will reply, \u201cMy Rabb is Allah, and you are the enemy of Allah! You are Dajjaal! By Allah! Never was I more certain and clear regarding you being Dajjaal than I am today!\u201d\u201d<\/p>\n

Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) then said, \u201cThat servant will have the highest rank from my ummah in Jannah (from the people of that time).\u201d Hazrat Abu Sa\u2019eed (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) said, \u201cBy Allah! We did not think that person to be anyone other than Hazrat Umar bin Khattaab (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), until he passed away (and we realized that it was not him).\u201d<\/p>\n

Dajjaal Causing Rain to Fall and Livestock to become Fat and Healthy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) further mentioned, \u201cFrom among his fitnahs is that he will pass by a certain locality and its people will reject him. After rejecting him, none of their livestock will remain without perishing and dying.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom among his fitnahs is that he will pass by a locality and its people will accept him. After accepting him, he will command the sky to rain and it will do so, and he will command the earth to produce crops and it will do so, until their livestock will return in the evening of that very day fatter and bigger than they ever were previously, and with their hips larger and udders fuller than before.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing will remain of the earth without him overcoming it and dominating over it, besides Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah. He will not approach these two cities from any of their passes except that the angels will face him with unsheathed swords, until he will settle at a small red hill where the salty land ends.\u201d (Ibnu Maajah #4077)<\/em><\/p>\n

The Three Tremors in Madinah Munawwarah<\/strong><\/p>\n

Madinah Munawwarah will experience three tremors in short intervals. All the people who were weak and negligent in Deen will come out of Madinah Munawwarah fearing the tremors. In this way, Allah Ta\u2018ala will purify Madinah Munawwarah of the munaafiqeen (hypocrites). (Ibnu Maajah #4077)<\/em> Once they come out, they will be trapped by Dajjaal.<\/p>\n

There will be a pious man who will come out of Madinah Munawwarah and debate with Dajjaal. Dajjaal will become enraged and kill this pious person. After killing him, Dajjaal will bring him back to life and ask him, \u201cDo you now believe that I am Allah?\u201d He will reply, \u201cNow I am more convinced that you are Dajjaal.\u201d Dajjaal will try to strike him but will be unable to do so, nor will he have any influence over him in any way, as Allah Ta\u2018ala will take away his powers.\u00a0 (Muslim #2937) <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
