The Overwhelming love of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) for <\/strong>Hazrat<\/strong> Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once, a person came to Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and said, \u201cO Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)! My love for you is such that when I think of you, I am overwhelmed by your love, to the extent that I do not find any satisfaction until I see you. O Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), the thought crosses my heart that if Allah Ta\u2018ala has to bless me with Paradise, it will be very difficult for me to see you, for you will be in a lofty position which I will not be able to reach (so how will I be able to stay without you?).\u201d<\/p>\n

Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) consoled him by reciting the following verses in reply:<\/p>\n

All those who obey Allah Ta’ala and the Messenger will be in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah Ta’ala; the Ambiyaa (\u2018alaihimus\u00a0salaam), the Siddeeqeen, the martyrs, and the righteous, and how excellent are these people as companions! (Surah Nisaa v.69)[1]<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
