When they asked him how he had received these scars, he replied, \u201cThe Quraish of Makkah would make me lie on the scorching stones of the desert. These are the scars of those injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The same torture was inflicted upon his father, Hazrat Yaasir (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), and his mother, Hazrat Sumayyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>Initially, just seven people openly proclaimed their belief in Islam. They were Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Bilaal, Hazrat Khabbaab, Hazrat Suhaib, Hazrat \u2018Ammaar and Hazrat Sumayyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum).<\/p>\n<p>On account of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) hailing from noble and strong families, the disbelievers of Makkah were unable to unleash their full animosity against them. Thus, the remaining five viz. Hazrat Bilaal, Hazrat Khabbaab, Hazrat Suhaib, Hazrat \u2018Ammaar and Hazrat Sumayyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) were made the primary targets of their persecution and torture. At the peak of midday, they would make them wear metal armor and force them to stand in the blistering heat.<\/p>\n<p>One day, Abu Jahl appeared before them and thrust a spear into the private part of Hazrat Sumayyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha), causing her to pass away as a martyr. The first martyr in Islam was Hazrat Sumayyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha) who was old and weak. When Abu Jahl was killed in the Battle of Badr, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) addressed Hazrat \u2018Ammaar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) saying:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: center; font-family: 'Traditional Arabic'; font-size: 16pt;\">\u0642\u062a\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0642\u0627\u062a\u0644 \u0623\u0645\u0643<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Allah Ta\u2018ala has killed your mother\u2019s killer<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Due to the torture that he received, Hazrat Yaasir (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) had passed away before Hazrat Sumayyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha).<\/p>\n<p><em>(Extracted from Seeratul Mustafa 1\/227)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On one occasion, Hazrat \u2018Ammaar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) removed his kurta and a few people noticed black scars covering his back.
