Hence, the Quraish subjected him to different types of punishments and tortures.<\/p>\n<p>At the peak of midday, they would lay him onto the burning sand and beat him until he would fall unconscious. At times, they would plunge his head into water and suffocate him, and at times, they would force him to lie on a bed of blazing coals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>On such occasions, when Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) happened to pass by, he would pass his blessed hands over the head of Hazrat \u2018Ammaar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) and say:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: center; font-family: 'Traditional Arabic'; font-size: 16pt;\">\u064a\u0627 \u0646\u0627\u0631 \u0643\u0648\u0646\u064a \u0628\u0631\u062f\u0627 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645\u0627 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0639\u0645\u0627\u0631 \u0643\u0645\u0627 \u0643\u0646\u062a \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0625\u0628\u0631\u0627\u0647\u064a\u0645<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>O fire! Become cool and safe for \u2018Ammaar as you had become for Nabi Ebrahim (\u2018alaihis salaam)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Whenever Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) would see Hazrat \u2018Ammaar, his father, Hazrat Yaasir, or his mother, Hazrat Sumayyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum), he would advise them saying, \u201cO family of Yaasir! Exercise patience!\u201d Sometimes, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) would also utter, \u201cO Allah! Forgive the family of Yaasir!\u201d At times, he would remark, \u201cGlad tidings to you!
