They called him a liar and began to mock at him and laugh at him.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the Quraish had been to Bayt-ul-Maqdis before, so they knew what it looked like. Now, to test Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), they began to ask him certain questions about Bayt-ul-Maqdis. At that time, Allah Ta\u2018ala showed Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) Bayt-ul-Maqdis, as though it was in front of him, so that he could clearly see it and answer all their questions.<\/p>\n<p>After the Quraish asked Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) their questions about Bayt-ul-Maqdis, and he answered all the questions correctly, they next said to him, \u201cTell us about something you saw while traveling to Makkah Mukarramah so that we will know that you are speaking the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied, \u201cWhile traveling, I saw a trade caravan at a certain place. I saw them returning to Makkah Mukarramah from Syria. The people of the caravan had lost one of their camels, but they found it later on.\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) also informed them that this trade caravan will arrive in Makkah Mukarramah in three days\u2019 time, and at the time when it arrives, they will see that at the front of the caravan will be a camel which is sandy colored, carrying two bags of goods on its back.<\/p>\n<p>Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) also told the Quraish that the caravan will arrive in Makkah Mukarramah on Wednesday before sunset. However, when Wednesday came, and the hours passed, until it was nearly the time of sunset, then the people saw that the caravan still hadn\u2019t arrived. Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was now worried, because if the caravan did not arrive before sunset, then the Quraish would call him a liar.<\/p>\n<p>At that time, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) made du\u2018aa to Allah Ta\u2018ala to help him. Allah Ta\u2018ala accepted his du\u2018aa and made the sun stop in its place. In this way, the sun did not set until the caravan entered Makkah Mukarramah a little while later. It was only after the caravan entered Makkah Mukarramah that the sun set and night came.<\/p>\n<p>After the caravan entered Makkah, the people saw that what Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said was correct. At the front of the caravan there was a camel which was sandy colored, and it was carrying two bags of goods on its back. When they asked the people in the caravan, they also told them how they had lost one camel, but found it later on \u2013 exactly how Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) had said.<\/p>\n<p>However, even though Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) had answered all the questions of the Quraish correctly, and they saw that everything he told them about the caravan was true, they still did not believe him.<\/p>\n<p>Waleed bin Mugheerah, who was one of the disbelievers, said to the people, \u201cThis is nothing but magic.\u201d Then, instead of the people believing Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), who was the most honest and truthful person, they believed Waleed.
