Hazrat Aaishah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha) reports that when Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) would see a cloud approaching from the horizon (regarding which he feared that it could be a cloud of punishment), he would leave whatever he was engaged in, even if (it was a time when generally) he would perform (nafl) salaah, he would then face in the direction of the cloud and recite the following dua (begging Allah Ta\u2018ala for His mercy):<\/em><\/p>\n

O Allah! We seek Your protection from the evil that it was sent with.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hazrat Aaishah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha) says, if it then rained, he (Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)) would recite the following dua twice or thrice (begging Allah Ta\u2018ala for beneficial rain):<\/em><\/p>\n
