Make him blind (so that he is unable to wink his eyes in mockery) and destroy his son.\u201d As a result, Aswad immediately became blind and his son was killed in the Battle of Badr.<\/p>\n<p>At the time when the Quraish were making preparations for the Battle of Uhud, Aswad was ill, but he was still making an effort to incite the people against Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).
