Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma) reports that he heard Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) saying, \u201cWhen you hear the muazzin call out the azaan, then repeat the words of the azaan after him and thereafter recite Durood upon me (before reciting the dua of azaan). Verily, whoever recites Durood upon me once, Allah Ta’ala sends ten blessings on him. Then (recite the dua after the azaan in which you) supplicate to Allah Ta’ala to bless me with the honour of \u2018waseelah\u2019 which is a lofty position and rank in Jannah which will be exclusively granted to one of Allah Ta’ala\u2019s \u00a0special servants. I earnestly hope that I am granted that position, and whoever supplicates to Allah Ta’ala to grant me the \u2018waseelah\u2019, he will receive my intercession on the day of Qiyaamah.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

A person once asked Hazrat Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), \u201cHow much of love did the Sahaabah\u00a0 (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) really possess for Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)?\u201d<\/p>\n

Hazrat Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) replied, \u201cI take a qasm on Allah Ta\u2018ala!
