The first two embraced Islam at the conquest of Makkah Mukarramah.<\/p>\n<p>As for \u2018Utaibah, who had divorced the daughter of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) at the command of his father and was also rude and disrespectful to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), he died on account of the curse of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>On the occasion of the conquest of Makkah Mukarramah, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) asked his uncle, Hazrat \u2018Abbaas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), \u201cWhere are your nephews, \u2018Utbah and Mu\u2018attib? I haven\u2019t seen them anywhere.\u201d Hazrat \u2018Abbaas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) replied, \u201cO Rasul of Allah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)! It seems as though they have gone into hiding.\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cFind them and bring them to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After searching, Hazrat \u2018Abbaas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) found them in the plains of \u2018Arafaat and brought them to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) invited them to Islam and they both immediately accepted Islam and pledged allegiance at his hands. Upon this, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) remarked, \u201cI made du\u2018aa to Allah Ta\u2018ala for these two cousins of mine.
