Acceptance in the Field of Hadith at a Young Age<\/strong><\/p>\n

Allah Ta\u2018ala had blessed Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) with special acceptance and mastery in the field of Hadith from a young age. Such was his acceptance that despite his young age, many people flocked to him to benefit from him, and even some of the senior Muhadditheen of the time came to him to listen to him narrating Ahaadith.<\/p>\n

Haashid bin Ismaa\u2018eel (rahimahullah) mentions that during the period of his youth, while Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) was in Basrah, the Ulamaa of Basrah would hasten to him, requesting him to narrate Ahaadith to them. They would earnestly request him to narrate Ahaadith to them until he would eventually relent and begin narrating Ahaadith to them.<\/p>\n

As Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) would be narrating, thousands of people would throng to his gathering, eager to hear the Mubaarak Ahaadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) from him, and among these people, there was a great number of senior-ranking Muhadditheen.\u00a0(Siyar A\u2019laamin Nubalaa 12\/408)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hazrat Abu Bakr Al-A\u2019yan (rahimahullah) was a great Muhaddith who was the Ustaad of leading Muhadditheen, the likes of Imaam Muslim (rahimahullah) and Imaam Abu Dawood (rahimahullah). During his youth, when he was seventeen years old, he was blessed with the honor of acquiring Ahaadith from Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah), who was also young at the time.<\/p>\n

He mentions, \u201cWe wrote Ahaadith from Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) at the door of Muhammed bin Yusuf Al-Firyaabi. At that time, Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) did not have any hair on his face (i.e. on account of his tender age, his beard had not yet appeared).\u201d\u00a0(Siyar A\u2019laamin Nubalaa 12\/401)<\/em><\/p>\n

Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) was so fortunate that Allah Ta\u2018ala blessed him with universal acceptance. He was granted such an esteemed position in the science of Hadith that even his Ustaads attested to his proficiency and mastery in the science of Hadith.<\/p>\n

It is reported that the great Ustaad of Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah), Hazrat Muhammed bin Salaam Al-Bikandi (rahimahullah), who was a student of Hazrat Abdullah bin Mubaarak (rahimahullah), had requested Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) saying, \u201cLook through my kitaabs, and if you find any mistake in them, then mark the mistake and inform me so that I will not narrate the mistake.\u201d Accordingly, Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah) did as his Ustaad instructed.<\/p>\n

Observing the great respect which Muhammed bin Salaam (rahimahullah) showed to Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullah), a person asked Muhammed bin Salaam (rahimahullah), \u201cWho is this youngster?\u201d Muhammed bin Salaam (rahimahullah) replied, \u201cHe is a person who is unparalleled in his expertise in the field of Hadith.\u201d\u00a0(Tahzeeb-ul-Kamaal 24\/459)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
