Make du\u2018aa to Allah Ta\u2018ala to send some divine punishment upon us.\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) responded, \u201cIt is the prerogative of Allah Ta\u2018ala to decide whether He will punish you or grant you respite.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>When Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said this, \u2018Abdullah bin Abi Umayyah stood and said, \u201cO Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)! Your people have placed so many proposals before you but you have refused to accept even a single one! O Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)! I take an oath in the name of Allah!
