This is why Abu Jahal exclaimed, \u201c\u2019Utbah does not look like the same \u2018Utbah. It seems as though \u2018Utbah has turned into a Saabi (one who has renounced the religion of his forefathers).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>\u2018Utbah replied, \u201cI have listened to the words of Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). By Allah! I have never heard such words before. His words are neither poetry, nor sorcery nor soothsaying. It is something else entirely. O People! If you would care to heed my advice then leave Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) alone. By Allah! If the Arabs kill him, you will have nothing to worry about, and alternatively, if his reign prevails over the Arabs, his honour will be your honour and his reign will be your reign, as after all, he is a part of your own tribe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To this, the leaders of the Quraish responded, \u201cAbul Waleed! Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) has cast a spell of black magic over you!\u201d \u2018Utbah replied, \u201cMy opinion will remain unchanged.
