Hazrat Sahl bin Sa\u2019d (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cThere are two times when duas are not rejected or very seldom will duas made at these two times not be accepted; at the time of the azaan and when the both armies meet in battle.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Hazrat Uthmaan bin Abil Aas Thaqafi (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cThe doors of the sky are opened when half the night passes. An angel then calls out, \u2018Is there anyone making dua so that his dua can be accepted? Is there anyone asking for anything so that his request may be granted? Is there any person in difficulty so that his hardship may be alleviated?\u2019 Thereafter, there is no Muslim who makes dua to Allah Ta\u2018ala accept that Allah Ta\u2018ala answers his dua, except for a prostitute or a person who usurps the wealth of people by force.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Hazrat Abu Umaamah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that on one occasion, Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was asked, \u201cWhich dua is most heard (and readily accepted)?\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied, \u201cThe dua made in the last portion of the night and after the fardh salaah.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
