Accordingly, he came to the haram first and saw Abu Jahal sitting there with a group of the Quraish. He went towards Abu Jahal, and the moment he reached him, he struck him on the head with his bow so severely that his head was wounded. He then reprimanded him saying, \u201cYou have the audacity to hurl abuse at Muhammad (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)? I myself am a follower of his deen!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>\u00a0Some members in the gathering wanted to come to Abu Jahal\u2019s defence, but he himself prevented them saying, \u201cToday I spoke very harshly and badly to his nephew. Leave Hamzah alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some of those present addressed Hazrat Hamzah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) saying, \u201cO Hamzah! Have you also become a Saabi (abandoned the religion of your forefathers)?\u201d Hazrat Hamzah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) replied, \u201cThe truthfulness and honesty of Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) has become absolutely clear to me. I testify that Muhammad (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) is the Rasul of Allah and that whatever he says is absolutely true. I will never forsake his deen.
