1. There are two fardh acts in ghusl:<\/p>\n

2. Making the intention of ghusl before commencing with the washing of the body.<\/p>\n

Sunnats of Ghusl<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sunnah acts of ghusl are:<\/p>\n

1. Reciting the tasmiyah in the beginning.[2]<\/sup><\/p>\n

2. Washing the hands upto the wrists.[3]<\/sup><\/p>\n

3. Washing the private parts and the parts where impurity is found.[4]<\/sup><\/p>\n

4. Performing a complete wudhu.[2]<\/sup><\/p>\n

5. Making khilaal of the hair (of the head and beard) before pouring water on the head.[2]<\/sup><\/p>\n

6. Pouring water over the head first, then the right side of the body commencing from the top to the bottom and thereafter the left side of the body commencing from the top to the bottom.[5]<\/sup><\/p>\n

7. Keeping the intention of ghusl in your mind until the completion of the ghusl.[6]<\/sup><\/p>\n

8. Rubbing the body each time one pours water over the body.[7]<\/sup><\/p>\n

9. Washing all the limbs of the body, one after the other in succession.[2]<\/sup><\/p>\n

10. Washing the right limbs before the left limbs.[2]<\/sup><\/p>\n

11. Washing the limbs thrice.[2]<\/sup><\/p>\n
