Face the qiblah while performing ghusl. It is better to wear a cloth covering the satr area while performing ghusl.[1]\n<p>2. Bath in such a place where no one can see you. It is better to perform ghusl with the satr area covered. Later on, Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) ascended the mimbar, praised Allah Ta\u2018ala and glorified Him, and thereafter said, \u201cIndeed Allah Ta\u2018ala is modest (i.e. He deals with His servants with the highest level of modesty and respect) and He is concealed (from the eyes of His servants), He likes (His servants to adopt) hayaa and concealment (when relieving themselves or bathing, etc.). Hence, when any one of you performs ghusl, he should conceal his body.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>3. Preferably use a bucket to bath.<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. If you are performing ghusl in the shower then ensure that you do not waste water. Do not engage in soaping yourself or removing unwanted hair, etc. while the water is running.
