Sayyiduna Humraan (rahimahullah), the freed slave of Sayyiduna Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), reports that Sayyiduna Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) requested for some water to perform wudhu \u2026 (He then commenced performing wudhu until) he washed his right foot until the ankles thrice, followed by the left foot in a similar manner. He then mentioned, \u201cI saw Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) perform wudhu in the manner I performed wudhu.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Make khilaal of the toes using the small finger of the right or left hand. Commence with the small toe of the right foot and end with the small toe of the left foot.[2]\n

Sayyiduna Mustawrid bin Shaddaad (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports, \u201cI saw Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) making khilaal of his toes with the small finger (of his left hand) whilst making wudhu.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

3. Upon completing the wudhu, recite the shahaadah. If you are in an open place, look towards the sky when reciting the [4] Similarly, recite the other masnoon duas which are reported in the Hadith.<\/p>\n

Below are some of the various masnoon duas which are reported in the Hadith to be recited upon the completion of wudhu:<\/p>\n

Dua One:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The one who recites the following dua, the eight doors of Jannah are opened for him and he may enter from whichever door he wishes:[5]\n

I testify that there is no deity besides Allah Ta\u2018ala who is alone and has no partner, and I testify that Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) is His servant and messenger. O Allah Ta\u2018ala, include me from among those who constantly repent and among those who are extremely pure.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dua Two:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The one who recites the following dua, the reward of the dua will be recorded for him on a scroll which will be kept sealed until the Day of Qiyaamah:[6]\n

4. Make wudhu in sequence. When washing your face and arms, making masah of your head, and washing your feet, it is compulsory (fardh) to do these four limbs in this sequence. If one changes the sequence e.g. he makes masah of the head before washing the arms, the wudhu will not be valid.[7]\n
