Various Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) presented their contributions to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) according to their means.<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) had thought to himself on that occasion that he will present a great contribution and surpass Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), as this was the first time that he had received a great amount of wealth. Hence, he presented half his wealth before Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) asked him, \u201cDid you leave anything for your family?\u201d He replied, \u201cYes, O Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)! I left half of my entire wealth for my family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>Subsequently, Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) came forward and presented all his wealth to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).
