1. Allah Ta\u2019ala revealed many divine books and scriptures to the various Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) for the guidance of their people. We have been informed of some of these divine books and scriptures in the Quraan Majeed and Mubaarak Ahaadith, while we have not been informed of others.[1]<\/sup><\/p>\n

2. We bring Imaan in all the divine books and scriptures that were revealed upon all the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) by Allah Ta\u2019ala in their original form in which they were revealed. We do not believe in the altered and fabricated versions that are changed by people and are wrongly attributed to Allah Ta\u2019ala.[2]<\/sup><\/p>\n

<\/a>3. Among the famous divine books that were revealed by Allah Ta\u2019ala are the following four books; the Tauraah which was revealed to Nabi Moosa (alaihis salaam), the Injeel which was revealed to Nabi Isa (alaihis salaam), the Zaboor which was revealed to Nabi Dawood (alaihis salaam), and the Quraan Majeed which was revealed to Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).[3]<\/sup><\/p>\n

4. Nabi Ebrahim (alaihis salaam) received his scriptures on the first of the month of Ramadhaan. Nabi Moosa (alaihis salaam) received the Tauraah on the sixth of Ramadhaan. Nabi Isa (alaihis salaam) received the Injeel on the thirteenth of Ramadhaan. Nabi Dawood (alaihis salaam) received the Zaboor on the twelfth or eighteenth of Ramadhaan. The Quraan Majeed was sent down from the Lowh-e-Mahfooz to the first heaven on the twenty-fourth of Ramadhaan. Thereafter, the entire Quraan Majeed was revealed upon Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) over a period of 23 years.[4]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n

5. The Quraan Majeed is the final divine book and was revealed to Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). Through the Quraan Majeed being revealed, all other divine books have been abrogated.[5]\n

6. Allah Ta\u2018ala has taken the divine onus and responsibility to protect and preserve the Quraan Majeed until the Day of Qiyaamah. Hence, no changes or distortions can be made in the Quraan Majeed. As far as the other divine books are concerned, then Allah Ta\u2018ala had entrusted their protection to the people. Hence, interpolations and distortions entered their books.[6]\n

7. The Quraan Majeed was revealed over a period of 23 years. Various aayaat (verses) from different parts of the Quraan Majeed were revealed at different times. Allah Ta\u2018ala instructed Hazrat Jibra\u2019eel (\u2018alaihis salaam) to show Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) which aayaat belong to which surah and what sequence they should be placed in.[7]<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n
