  1. Allah Ta\u2018ala sent many Ambiyaa (prophets) to the world to guide mankind to the straight.[1]\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Prophethood is bestowed by the divine selection of Allah Ta\u2018ala. Allah Ta\u2018ala selects from His servants whomsoever He wishes for this great mission. Prophethood cannot be earned by any person through his own actions and effort.[2]<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. A Prophet who was given a separate book and Shari\u2019ah is called a Rasul. A prophet who was not given a separate book and Shari\u2019ah, but was commanded to follow the book and Shari\u2019ah of a previous Rasul, is called a Nabi.[3]<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. The prophets are the most obedient of all Allah Ta\u2018ala\u2019s servants. They will never disobey Allah Ta\u2018ala at any time.[4]<\/li>\n
  5. All the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) are divinely protected by Allah Ta\u2018ala from committing sins. Hence, all the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) are completely sinless.[4]<\/li>\n
  6. The total number of the Ambiyaa (\u2018alaihimus salaam) is known to Allah Ta\u2018ala alone. We bring Imaan in all the prophets of Allah Ta\u2018ala, whatever their number may be.<\/li>\n
  7. As a sign of the nabi\u2019s prophethood, Allah Ta\u2018ala allows the nabi to carry out certain mu\u2019jizaat (miracles). However, it should be understood that the nabi is a human being, and he is unable to perform miracles of his own accord. It is only through the divine permission and with the divine help of Allah Ta\u2018ala that miracles are performed at the hands of the nabi.<\/li>\n
  8. The first prophet is Nabi Aadam (\u2018alaihis salaam), and the final prophet is Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). All the other Ambiyaa (\u2018alaihimus salaam) came between these two prophets.<\/li>\n
  9. Some of the well known Ambiyaa (\u2018alaihimus salaam) whose names are recorded in the Quraan Majeed and Mubaarak Ahaadith are: Nabi Nooh (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Ebrahim (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Ishaaq (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Ismail (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Ya\u2019qoob (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Yusuf (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Dawood (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Sulaimaan (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Ayyoob (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Moosa (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Haaroon (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Zakariyya (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Yahya (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Ilyaas (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Al-Yasa\u2019 (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Yunus (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Loot (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Idrees (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Zul Kifl (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Saalih (\u2018alaihis salaam), Nabi Hood (\u2018alaihis salaam), and Nabi Shu\u2019aib (\u2018alaihis salaam).<\/li>\n
  10. Before Qiyaamah, Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) will be sent to kill Dajjaal. The nubuwwah of Nabi Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) will not be cancelled. He will be sent to assist the Ummah of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and he will follow the Shari\u2019ah of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). At that time, while he will be in the world, he will receive wahi through which he will assist the Ummah against the forces of baatil (falsehood).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
