Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) also mentioned that Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) would be on the haq in this fitnah, however he would be martyred.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these Ahaadith are:<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat \u2018Abdullah bin \u2018Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma) reports the following: On one occasion, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) made mention of a fitnah that was to occur in the future. At that moment, a certain Sahaabi passed by while covering his head with a shawl. Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) gestured towards him and said, \u201cIn that fitnah, this person, whose head is covered with a shawl, will be killed unjustly.\u201d Hazrat \u2018Abdullah bin \u2018Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma) then said, \u201cWhen I looked at the man, I saw that he was none other than Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan bin \u2018Affaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu).\u201d\u00a0<em>(Fadhaa\u2019il-us-Sahaabah lil-Imaam Ahmed #724)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>\u00a0Hazrat Ka\u2019b bin \u2018Ujrah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) narrates: Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) once mentioned a certain fitnah to the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) and explained that this fitnah would occur in the near future. At that moment, a Sahaabi passed by with his head covered with a shawl. Referring to this Sahaabi, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cOn that day (when the fitnah will occur), this man will be on guidance.\u201d I moved to see who the person was and placed my hand on his arm. On noticing that the person was Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), I turned to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) for confirmation and asked, \u201cIs this the person who will be on haq at that time?\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) answered in the affirmative and said, \u201cYes, he is the person.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In various Ahaadith, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) had prophesized that a fitnah would break out during the era of Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan\u2019s (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) khilaafah.
