This conduct of deep concern and love for each other was natural within them, as they regarded themselves to belong to one brotherhood of Islam. When they had fallen ill, they visited each other and saw to the welfare of one another.<\/p>\n<p>Below is an incident that highlights the noble quality of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) in upholding the mubaarak sunnah of visiting the sick, and in specific, showing love to the Ahl-e-Bayt.<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat Abu Faakhtah, Sa\u2018eed bin \u2018Ilaaqah (rahimahullah) narrates the following incident:<\/p>\n<p>On one occasion, Hazrat \u2018Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) held my hand and said to me, \u201cLet us go and visit Hazrat Hasan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) as he is sick.\u201d We then proceeded to the house of Hazrat Hasan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu). On arriving at his house, we found that Hazrat Abu Musa (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) had come to visit him.<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat \u2018Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) addressed Hazrat Abu Musa (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) asking, \u201cO Abu Musa (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu)! With what intention have you come to visit Hazrat Hasan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu)? Have you come to visit him because he is sick, or have you just come to visit him (as the reward for visiting the sick is far greater than meeting your brother at other times)?\u201d Hazrat Abu Musa (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) replied, \u201cI have come to visit him because of his sickness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat \u2018Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) then said, \u201cI heard Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) mention, \u2018There is no Muslim who visits another Muslim in the morning, on account of his sickness, except that seventy thousand angels make du\u2018aa for him until the evening, and if he visits him due to his sickness in the evening, seventy thousand angels make du\u2018aa for him until the morning, and the one visiting a sick person will also receive an orchard in Jannah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>(Sunan Tirmizi #969)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) were an embodiment of love and they displayed the highest degree of love for each other at every opportunity.
