He was either the fourth or fifth Sahaabi to accept Islam.<\/p>\n<p>Before accepting Islam, he saw the following dream. He says:<\/p>\n<p>I dreamt that I was standing at the edge of a broad and deep pit filled with fire. My, father, Sa\u2018eed, wanted to push me into the pit. Suddenly, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) appeared, held me by the waist and pulled me away. I awoke from the dream saying, \u201cBy Allah, this dream is true!\u201d I then proceeded to Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) and related the dream to him. Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) said, \u201cAllah Ta\u2018ala intends to bless you with goodness. This is the messenger of Allah. Follow him and embrace Islam. Insha Allah you will follow Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and embrace Islam, and it is your Islam that will save you from falling into the fire. However, it appears as though your father is falling into the fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>I then went to Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and enquired, \u201cO Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)! What are you inviting us towards?\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"font-family: 'traditional arabic'; font-size: 16pt; text-align: center;\">\u0623\u062f\u0639\u0648\u0643 \u0625\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0648\u062d\u062f\u0647 \u0644\u0627 \u0634\u0631\u064a\u0643 \u0644\u0647 \u0648\u0623\u0646 \u0645\u062d\u0645\u062f\u0627 \u0639\u0628\u062f\u0647 \u0648\u0631\u0633\u0648\u0644\u0647 \u062a\u062e\u0644\u0639 \u0645\u0627 \u0643\u0646\u062a \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0645\u0646 \u0639\u0628\u0627\u062f\u0629 \u062d\u062c\u0631 \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0636\u0631 \u0648\u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0646\u0641\u0639 \u0648\u0644\u0627 \u064a\u062f\u0631\u064a \u0645\u0646 \u0639\u0628\u062f\u0647 \u0645\u0645\u0646 \u0644\u0645 \u064a\u0639\u0628\u062f\u0647<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cI am inviting you towards Allah who is alone and has no partner, and verily Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) is His slave and messenger, and I invite you to forsake the worship of idols that neither have the ability to benefit nor harm nor do they even know who worships them or who desists from worshipping them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I then professed before Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), \u201cI testify that Allah is alone and you are His true messenger.\u201d In this manner, I embraced Islam.<\/p>\n<p><em>(Extracted from Seeratul Mustafa 1\/163-164)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hazrat Khaalid bin Sa\u2018eed bin \u2018Aas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) was among the first people to embrace Islam.
