Even at the time of committing a wrong, Allah Ta\u2018ala sends a reminder and causes your conscience to trouble you. However, if you ignore this reminder, then gradually this defence system weakens. When a haraam is abandoned for the sake of Allah Ta\u2018ala, Allah Ta\u2018ala will grant a person the same thing in a halaal manner.<\/p>\n<p>We need to contemplate over the favours of Allah Ta\u2018ala, that He has bestowed so much upon us despite our faults. Think of them and cry over our sins and reflect as to how we can pay back. This should not be seasonal and only done at certain times and occasions.
