She responded, \u201cBy Allah! Accept glad tidings! Allah Ta\u2018ala will never deal with you with anything but goodness. Accept the position which Allah Ta\u2018ala has conferred upon you for it is undoubtedly the haq. Glad tidings to you as you are truly the messenger of Allah.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>Hazrat Khadijah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha) then went alone to her cousin, Waraqah bin Nawfal, who was a scholar of the old and the new testaments. He would translate the New Testament from Syriac into Arabic. During the pre-Islamic era of ignorance, he stayed away from idolatry and embraced Christianity. By this time, he was very old and blind.
