Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) permitted Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) to enter, while he was lying down in that condition, and spoke to him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>After some time, Hazrat \u2018Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) requested permission to enter. Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) permitted Hazrat \u2018Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) to enter and spoke to him while he remained in the same condition.<\/p>\n<p>Thereafter, Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) requested permission to enter. When Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) sought permission to enter, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) immediately sat up and straightened his clothing, placing his kurta over his lungi. Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) then permitted him to enter, after which they spoke for some time.<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat \u2018Aa\u2019ishah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha) then mentioned:<\/p>\n<p>When Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) left, I asked Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), \u201cI noticed that when Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) entered, you remained lying down. Thereafter, when Hazrat \u2018Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) entered, you also continued to lie down. However, when Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) entered, you sat up and straightened your clothing.\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied, \u201cHow can I not display extra hayaa before a man who is such that even the angels display hayaa before him?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>(Saheeh Muslim #2401)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In another similar narration, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied, \u201cHazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is a man who possesses an exceptionally high level of hayaa.
