Due to these Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) receiving the glad tidings of Jannah from Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) in one gathering, they are famously known as the Asharah Mubasharah (the ten who were given glad tidings of Jannah). These were not the only Sahaabah who received glad tidings of Jannah from Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). At other occasions, Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) had given individual glad tidings of Jannah to other Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) as well.<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat \u2018Abdur Rahmaan bin \u2018Auf (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cHazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat \u2018Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat \u2018Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat Talhah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat Zubair (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat \u2018Abdur Rahmaan bin \u2018Auf (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat Sa\u2019d (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah, Hazrat Sa\u2018eed (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah and Hazrat Abu \u2018Ubaidah bin Jarraah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) is among the people of Jannah.<br \/>\n(Sunan Tirmizi #3747)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There were ten Sahaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhum) who were given the glad tidings of Jannah by Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) in one gathering.
