However, how long could this continue for? After Harb-ul-Fujjaar was concluded, it occurred to some people that just as bloodshed and killing was previously brought to an end by a pact devised by Fadhl bin Fudhaalah, Fadhl bin Wadaa\u2018ah and Fudhail bin Haarith, whose names caused this pact to be popularly known as Hilf-ul-Fudhool, in the same way, there was today an urgent need to once again to revive this pact.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>Zubair bin \u2018Abdul Muttalib mentioned this pact in his poetry saying:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"font-family: 'traditional arabic'; font-size: 16pt; text-align: center;\">\u0625\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0641\u0636\u0648\u0644 \u062a\u062d\u0627\u0644\u0641\u0648\u0627 \u0648\u062a\u0639\u0627\u0642\u062f\u0648\u0627\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u0623\u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0642\u064a\u0645 \u0628\u0628\u0637\u0646 \u0645\u0643\u0629 \u0638\u0627\u0644\u0645<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Indeed the three Fadhls (Fadhl bin Fudhaalah, Fadhl bin Wadaa\u2018ah and Fudhail bin Haarith) all took a solemn pledge from the people that no oppressor would be permitted to live within the valley of Makkah<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"font-family: 'traditional arabic'; font-size: 16pt; text-align: center;\">\u0623\u0645\u0631 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u062a\u0639\u0627\u0647\u062f\u0648\u0627 \u0648\u062a\u0648\u0627\u062b\u0642\u0648\u0627\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u0641\u0627\u0644\u062c\u0627\u0631 \u0648\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0639\u062a\u0631 \u0641\u064a\u0647\u0645 \u0633\u0627\u0644\u0645<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>They all pledged and agreed to this, and hence the neighbors and visitors would all be safe among them in Makkah.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>(Extracted from Seeratul Mustafa 1\/94)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Arabs had been engaged in a series of battles with each other for many years.
