However, according to the majority of the Muhadditheen and historians, the preferred view is that Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was born on the 8th of Rabee\u2019-ul-Awwal.<\/p>\n<p>The mother of Hazrat \u2018Uthmaan bin Abul \u2018Aas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), Faatimah bintu \u2018Abdillah, says, \u201cAt the time of the blessed birth of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), I was with his mother, Aaminah. I noticed that the entire house was filled with Noor, and I also saw the stars stooping so low that I thought they would fall onto me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat \u2018Irbaadh bin Saariyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) relates that during the blessed birth of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), his mother observed a Noor that illuminated the palaces of Syria.
