Amongst the Quraish and other Arabs, \u2018Abdul Muttalib initiated the tradition of paying one hundred camels instead of the customary ten camels as blood money. Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) also maintained this Sunnah in Islam. Following this incident, \u2018Abdullah received the title of \u2018Zabeeh\u2019 (the sacrificed or slaughtered one). This is the reason why Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was referred to as \u2018Ibnuz Zabeehain\u2019 (the son of two Zabeehs).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>Hazrat Mu\u2018aawiyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) says that they were once in the blessed company of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) when a Bedouin addressed Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) as \u201cO son of the two Zabeehs!\u201d Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) merely smiled at him. After narrating this incident, one of those present enquired as to who the two Zabeehs were. In response, Hazrat Mu\u2018aawiyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) went on to recount this incident of \u2018Abdullah and said, \u201cOne was \u2018Abdullah whilst the other was Hazrat Ismaa\u2018eel (\u2018alaihis salaam).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Allaamah Zarqaani (rahimahullah) says that whenever the Quraish were afflicted by severe drought, they would take \u2018Abdul Muttalib to Mount Thabir. They would then beg Allah Ta\u2018ala for rain through his blessed presence.
