\"\"<\/a>Ka\u2018b<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the pre-Islamic era, Ka\u2018b bin Luwayy would, on a weekly basis, gather all the people on the day of Friday. After all the people had assembled, he would deliver a sermon which he would commence by praising Allah Ta\u2018ala and explaining that Allah Ta\u2018ala had created the skies, the earth, the moon, the sun and all other forms of creation. He would thereafter give the people beneficial advices and would encourage them to maintain family ties.<\/p>\n

He would also mention: \u201cA prophet is to appear amongst my descendants. If you are alive in that era, ensure that you follow him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

At times he would recite the following stanza:<\/p>\n

\u064a\u0627 \u0644\u064a\u062a\u0646\u064a \u0634\u0627\u0647\u062f \u0641\u062d\u0648\u0627\u0621 \u062f\u0639\u0648\u062a\u0647 \u0627\u0630\u0627 \u0642\u0631\u064a\u0634 \u062a\u0628\u063a\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0642 \u062e\u0630\u0644\u0627\u0646\u0627<\/p>\n

\u201cIf only I could be present when he (Rasulullah sallallahu \u2018alaihi wa sallam) proclaims his message, at the time when the Quraish will shun the truth and forsake him (forsake supporting him).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018Abdu Manaaf<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imaam Shaafi\u2018ee (rahimahullah) says that \u2018Abdu Manaaf\u2019s name was Mughirah.<\/p>\n

He was endowed with such exceptional beauty that he was known as \u201cQamar-ul-Bat-haa\u201d (the moon of the valley of Makkah).<\/p>\n

The following statement was found inscribed on a stone:<\/p>\n

\u201cI, Mughirah bin Qusayy, enjoin (people) to fear Allah and maintain family ties.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
