\"\"<\/a>Reciting Durood upon Rasulullah \ufdfa is regarded as being among the greatest ibaadaat in Deen through which one may acquire the divine love of Allah Ta\u2019ala and the special closeness of His beloved Rasulullah \ufdfa. Rasulullah \ufdfa said, \u201cIndeed, the people who will be closest to me on the day of Qiyaamah will be those who used to recite the most Durood upon me in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his Mubaarak Ahaadith, Rasulullah \ufdfa has encouraged his Ummah to recite abundant Durood upon him and he has explained that through reciting Durood, they will receive great virtues and blessings from Allah Ta\u2019ala.<\/p>\n

It has been the practice of many Akaabir and pious elders to recite the eighty Durood after Asr on Friday. This practice was always understood to have been based upon the Hadith of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu) wherein he had reported that Rasulullah \ufdfa had said, \u201cThe one who performs Asr Salaah on Friday and thereafter recites eighty times before standing up from his place \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0645 \u0635\u0644 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0645\u062d\u0645\u062f \u0627\u0644\u0646\u0628\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0645\u064a \u0648\u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0622\u0644\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645 \u062a\u0633\u0644\u064a\u0645\u0627\u064b, eighty years of sins are forgiven for him and eighty years of (nafl) ibaadat are written for him\u201d. However, there has lately been some discussion among the Ulama regarding whether this practice is established and whether this Durood should be recited.<\/p>\n

This book provides insight into this issue and expels the doubts that people have regarding this practice being an innovation in Deen.<\/p>\n
