The Ones who Fear Allah Ta’ala

Hazrat Muaawiyah (radhiyallahu anhu) reports that he heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) say: “O people, knowledge can only be acquired through the process of seeking it, and the true understanding of Deen can only be obtained through in-depth study, and the one who Allah Ta’ala wishes good for, He grants him the true understanding of Deen, and among the servants of Allah Ta’ala, it is only the Ulama (those who possess the true knowledge of Deen) who fear Him.”

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
