In whichever condition You Fight or are Killed, Allah Ta’ala will Resurrect you in that Condition

Hadhrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that on one occasion I said to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam): “O Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), inform me regarding fighting in Jihaad. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied: “O Abdullah bin Amr, if you fight in the path of Allah Ta’ala while observing steadfastness and perseverance (against the enemy, remaining firm on the battlefield) and with the hope of earning reward from Allah Ta’ala (i.e. you fight with complete ikhlaas and for the upliftment of Deen and you pass away in that condition),  Allah Ta’ala will resurrect you (from your grave on the day of Qiyaamah) in the same manner  with perseverance and the desire of earning the rewards of the Aakhirah. If you fight in Jihaad with the intention of showing off (your bravery) and acquiring the wealth of the world (i.e. your intention is not for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala and the upliftment of Deen, instead it is only for the sake of acquiring wealth and you pass away in that condition), Allah Ta’ala will resurrect you (from your grave on the day of Qiyaamah) in the same manner while possessing riyaa within your heart and craving for the wealth of the world. O Abdullah bin Amr, (understand well,) in whichever condition you fight or are killed, Allah Ta’ala will resurrect you in that condition.

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
