Calling out the azaan and iqaamah in a deserted area

Hazrat Salmaan Faarsi (radhiyallahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “When a person is (alone) in a deserted area and the time of salaah enters, then he should perform wudhu. If he cannot find water then he should perform tayammum. If he calls out the iqaamah (before performing salaah), his two angels will perform salaah with him, and if he calls out the azaan and iqaamah (before performing salaah), such large armies of Allah Ta’ala (angels) will perform salaah behind him that both ends of these armies cannot be seen.”

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
