Virtue of Salaah performed Using the Miswaak

عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم فضل الصلاة بالسواك على الصلاة بغير سواك سبعين ضعفا. رواه أحمد والبزار وأبو يعلى وابن خزيمة في صحيحه وقال في القلب من هذا الخبر شيء فإني أخاف أن يكون محمد بن إسحاق لم يسمعه من ابن شهاب ورواه الحاكم وقال صحيح على شرط مسلم كذا قال ومحمد بن إسحاق إنما أخرج له مسلم في المتابعات (الترغيب والترهيب 1/231) (التلخيص الحبير 1/99)

Hazrat Aaisha (Radhiyallahu Anha) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “The salaah performed with miswaak is seventy times more virtuous than the salaah performed without miswaak.”

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
