Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who does not face the qiblah at the time of relieving himself, nor does he cause his back to face the qiblah while relieving himself, for such a person one good deed is written for him and one evil deed (and sin) is wiped out his records (on account of him showing respect to the qiblah, which is a great symbol of Deen).”

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Beware of the two causes of being cursed” The Sahaabah asked: “What are the two causes of being cursed?” Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied: “Through one relieving himself in the pathways of the people or in places of shade where people rest (i.e. through causing inconvenience to people by messing these places, one is cursed and deprived of the mercy of Allah Ta’ala).”
