Speaking Lies upon Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)

Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who intentionally speaks a lie and attributes it to me (i.e. one who fabricates a Hadith), then he should prepare his abode in Jahannum.”

People will be Grouped on the Day of Qiyaamah

Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who used to invite people towards anything (or deed, whether good or bad) in the world, on the day of Qiyaamah he will remain firmly joined to those people whom he used to invite (and they responded to his invitation), even though a person had invited just one person (he will be made to stand with him i.e. The person whom he had invited towards any deed, whether good or bad, he will be made to stand with such a person).”

Be a Key for Goodness and a Lock for Evil

Hadhrat Sahl bin Sa’d (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Indeed this goodness of Islam are treasures (of Allah Ta’ala). And these treasures have keys (to its doors). May glad tidings be for that servant whom Allah Ta’ala has made a key for goodness and a lock for evil; and may destruction be for that servant whom Allah Ta’ala has made a key for evil and a lock for good (deeds).”

Initiate Good, not Evil

Hadhrat Waathila bin Asqa’ (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who initiates a good action, then he will receive its reward as long as it is practiced upon during his life and after he passes away (he will continue to receive the rewards) until that action is no longer practiced. And whoever initiates an evil deed, then he will bear the burden of its sin until the time that it is no longer practiced, and whoever passes away while guarding the Islamic frontier (Islamic borders), he will continue to receive the reward of guarding the frontier until he is resurrected on the day of Qiyaamah.”

Initiating a Practice Followed by Others

Hadhrat Huzaifah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that once a person was begging in the time of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), however the people desisted from giving him anything. Thereafter one person had given him some assistance and thereafter the people also began to assist him. Upon this, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who initiates a good practice and others follow him, he will receive his reward and the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being decreased in the least. And whoever initiates an evil practice and others follow him, he will receive his sin and the sins of all those who follow him, without their sins being decreased in the least.”
